Christmas Recap

Hello Birdies! I thought it was about time I check in...with the whirlwind of the holidays blogging has been the last thing on my mind! Hubby and I hosted a party for our friends on the 23rd, and spent time with our families for the rest of the weekend...eating, eating and eating some more. Gift highlights for me included a new ipad 2 from Hubby, and a gift certificate for my favourite hot yoga studio from my mom-in-law (much needed after the aforementioned eating), among other delightful things.

Here are a few pics of our house still in tact, pre party. I don't want to take down my decorations! I can wait until after new year's right??

Most of these decorations are from my last visit to Simply White in Saint Catharines, when the store was still in its original location. C has also sent me lots of goodies from there, like the cute deer ornament.

I don't go for a polished design for our Christmas tree. It's a mish-mash of ornaments from when Hubby and I were growing up. I love digging out my favourites from the eighties.
