The British Invasion

Hello Birdies! It's a mere few hours from Canada Day and Ottawa is a-buzz with the Royal Visit. Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived today and they are bringing crowds and excitement wherever they go. I have to admit, it's pretty cool that Ottawa is their first stop, and I love that their tour is so accessible and youth-focused (tonight is a special bbq at the Governor General's home with young people who support causes close the Royal Couple's hearts). But, on to more important matters, what did Kate wear today??

There have been a lot of comments today in the media about Kate "bucking" tradition and not bringing a "dresser" with her on this tour. Kate obviously packed well though, and so far has looked classic and elegant, celebrating Canadian designers while staying true to her style:
